ABERDEEN, SCOTLAND, October 21, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- International industrial services provider Bilfinger UK earns the Certified Neurodiverse Workplace™ (CNW) designation from the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES), recognizing its efforts to strengthen inclusive workplace practices and better support neurodivergent employees.

To earn the certification, Bilfinger staff completed training focused on understanding neurodiversity and developing strategies to better recruit, support, and create an inclusive workplace for neurodivergent employees, including those who are autistic, have ADHD, or are dyslexic. Additionally, IBCCES will review Bilfinger’s current practices and provide recommendations to further enhance workplace inclusion.

Sue Rice, Senior Vice President, People, Segment Western Europe, at Bilfinger says: "Achieving Certified Neurodiverse Workplace™ status is an important milestone for Bilfinger and reflects our commitment to creating an inclusive environment where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. We recognise that people think, learn and solve problems in different ways, and those differences bring valuable perspectives, innovation and creativity to our business.”

Rice continues, “This certification is about more than recognition. It demonstrates our commitment to increasing understanding, equipping our people with the knowledge and tools to support one another, and ensuring colleagues feel confident bringing their authentic selves to work. By continuing to build awareness, remove barriers and create an environment where different ways of thinking are valued, we are strengthening both our culture and our ability to deliver for our customers.”

The CNW program helps organizations improve operational efficiency by reducing turnover, strengthening problem-solving and innovation, and maximizing existing talent. By creating a more neurodiverse and accessible workplace, organizations can also expand their reach, improve customer experiences, and build greater loyalty. Together, these benefits create a more resilient, innovative, and valuable organization, making accessibility a strategic investment in long-term growth.

Myron Pincomb, CEO and Board Chairman of IBCCES, says: “Bilfinger’s commitment to becoming a Certified Neurodiverse Workplace™ demonstrates the value of creating an environment where different ways of thinking and working are recognized and supported. By equipping their teams with a better understanding of neurodiversity and practical strategies for supporting neurodivergent employees, Bilfinger is taking meaningful steps toward a more inclusive workplace while strengthening the organization’s ability to attract, retain, and empower diverse talent.”

For 25 years, IBCCES has been a leader in providing autism, sensory, and neurodiversity training and certification for professionals worldwide, including those in healthcare, education, public safety, travel, and corporate sectors. As the only credentialing board offering these programs, IBCCES provides training from subject matter experts and autistic self-advocates, along with long-term support, continuous learning, onsite reviews, and renewal requirements to ensure continued growth and lasting impact.

To further support inclusivity efforts, Bilfinger UK is featured on the IBCCES Accessibility App™, which is free to download. This app provides individuals with a variety of disabilities real-time guidance on certified destinations, sensory-inclusive spaces, and tailored recommendations. By connecting users to accessible locations worldwide, the app helps ensure seamless, enjoyable experiences for everyone.

IBCCES also provides access to resources such as AccessibilityCertified.com and AutismTravel.com, which are free online tools for families that list certified locations and professionals. Each organization listed on the sites has met IBCCES certification requirements.
